Have you ever heard the saying “details are what make a person?” Well details are also what make a video and they can change a viewers perception of just about anything, especially pertaining to film or video. For example, having an extreme close up of someone’s face can show viewers their true emotions. If the person is crying, you can see the pain in their eyes and it can contribute to the story. This week in JOU 367, our assignment was to create a video on details to practice sequences. The goal is to have a a theme with a minimum of 12 shots edited down to 3-6 seconds each where we showcase the details of a person or object.
